Se Mn | My parents had a new house built in 1976. One acre (which was probably cheap, from my great grandpas farm) Approx. 1200 sq ft. full finished basement, attached 2 car garage, vaulted ceilings, brick on front, propane furnace and woodstove etc. All in for everything digging basement, new well, septic, electrical, all material and labor it was $40,000. Inflation calculator says that would be $220,500 today. I don't know if you could build something similar today for that, maybe if you did a lot of the work yourself? | |
