That’s the plan right now. Got two of them in and shoved it down their throats. One was feeling pretty frisky when she saw the chute. I think she’ll be fine. Other one is questionable.


We have been putting them out for a few hours and pulling them off with good luck all week until now.


What’s the prognosis for a bred stiff sore cow that’s still walking?


Is she older? Hooves look normal? I have a 14 yr old cow that's pretty stiff walking on these cooler mornings that just calved this morning, I hope she gets along ok to raise the calf to weaning then i think this is her last year unfortunately. She's in good condition on just grass and grass hay all winter but she's always the caboose when moving them to new paddock always gotta wait for the grandma cow before closing the wire.
