central Ia | Since you don't seem to want to tell the "whole story" at one time, is this a dealer you have bought equipment from before or the first time you have done business with them. Way back when I was working for a JD dealer the owner told us that if we were working on a piece of equipment someone bought else where and a local lady showed up with her lawn mower that she bought there we were to work on the lawn mower first, no matter what time of the year. You haven't said if this is a $100,000+ combine or a $20,000 or less combine. Tell the whole story and you will get better answers. Not fun waiting for repairs or parts and I'm afraid that in this day and age you need to be able to under take repairs even though you don't want to. | |
