Northwest Iowa | The reason for the lamb being imported vs domestic is a couple reasons. One is nobody wants to do that work or be labeled a sheep farmer. It is labor intensive. I don’t know of anybody not ever wanting cows. Cows are sexy and cool. The other thing with imported lamb is they can offer more consistent product it seems. Domestically we drastic differences amongst our end products. No idea how imported beef stacks up that way vs domestic | |
