If he needs to get rid of it because of lack of acreage, get it for nothing. We've done that the last few years with our neighbor who has multiple barns and not enough acres. On the other hand, fert cost has lost its mind this year, application cost should be justifiable, especially if it's a deep pit. Like another poster stated, black gold.
