Independent mechanic here. I work on a lot of combines. I start the moment harvest ends, and lucky to get all of them done by the next harvest. If I have a new customer wanting combine service and they call in November or December, it will get done. If I have someone show up on Aug 1st and it's the first I know about it, there is zero chance it will get done by harvest.
