Northern Nebraska | There are droves of posters on here that decry welfare for anyone except themselves. Call it socialist or communist. I just want to keep reminding folks that the farm program payments are welfare and hope it helps soften those hardened hearts out there.
If I'm destitute and need social welfare when in my 70s sure. If I'm affluent and still own land no way in hell. We all could use a bit of humility. There is mine. If I'm broke put me on the dole. Until then no thank you. | |
