Hooker Twp,Ne | Unemployment ins is pd by employer/employee. Social security tax is paid by most all of us every year tax time comes around and is placed in separate pot. Also if one makes to much they pay tax on their S.S benefits. Unemployment I’m not quite sure of but I suppose if you worked part of the year and then recieved unemployment for last month or two of the year those funds would be added to your yearly gross income for tax purposes. So therefore they are not welfare. With your logic is then someone driving on any road receiving welfare. Gov funded and you’re driving it for free.
