Subject: Are there very many soybeans that are being fed to cattle at these prices?

SE Indiana
I have been hearing that the bases is terrible in the upper Midwest. Will there be very many raw beans fed to cattle up there or is there still cheaper protein alternatives? I’ve been overpaying for ddgs from co op for convenience and figured that on a protein basis a bushel of beans is worth 11.20 compared to 260 ddgs.

Also considering a roaster to roast beans for my bottle calf ration. Anyone out there with experience feeding roasted beans to babies?
