And this is why the American beef cow herd will continue to decline long term. Easier to check your bank account for government direct deposit than check cows during calving, fix fence, thaw frozen water systems, feed cows in below zero weather, etc. etc.
Not gonna happen if beef prices stay high. There are those that will choose to keep their pastures and barns full. |
