I hate bailouts. I also hate producing below the cost of production. I don't look at it as charity, I consider it an attempt to reimburse us for market manipulation. There's been a lot of news stories about the plight of the farmer so you could expect something would be coming. How to distribute it fairly is a problem. Always some groups favored over others.
