IF the spring application is done with a coulter toolbar and drag hose AND you have some control over when it gets done, it can consistently outperform fall application.

If its going to be done with tanks whenever they get there regardless of field conditions, spring application is a hard "NO".

Absolutely bad advice above



Why is that?

We’ve had spring applied manure for many many years.    Probably more years than you’ve been dealing with hog manure.     I’ve seen spring applied manure outyield fall applied several times but it has to be done right.
