Thumb of Michigan | Rich, the old 318 always sounds tired and labored! We really don't have enough hours on the motors since we added Lucas to make any claims yet.
I remembered another fix, though. The wobble box on our flex head was making an awful racket after a couple of years. Deere mechanic wanted it changed immediatlly. One of those deals where we had 3 days left to go, rain coming in 3 1/2 days, no way we were going to stop unless we had to. Dumped some Lucas in to get by. That was 5 years ago, still has the same wobble box on it.
