Pay no more than application cost and I’d insist on paying the applicator direct so you know that he doesn’t markup the price. Application is all it’s worth. Sampling is good, but don’t give any credit for the N. In my experience the N is too finicky, sometimes it’s available sometimes not. This is especially true if it lays out there all winter.
