People who are staunch 2nd amendment supporters absolutely believe that it's their "right" to stand up to an "abusive" govt. I mean, it's really the whole point of the 2nd amendment, isn't it? I'm just saying that Kirk stated that he was Ok with gun violence because that was the cost of the 2nd amendment and "protecting our other God Given rights". How is the 2nd amendment going to "protect" those "God Given Rights." Through violence, or the threat of it. That's the only reasonable answer. Would I take everyone's guns away? No. But things would be regulated a lot more sanely than they are now. But that's a different discussion. And, look. Kirk believed in violence. He doxed professors and people he disagreed with and sicd his goons on them. College professors had to get security and were hounded out of jobs. He harassed George Floyd's daughter in Minneapolis. Violence was his stock in trade. I mean, even the project 2025 goons said "The revolution will be bloodless, if the left allows it." Violent rhetoric, everywhere. |
