They have since found out that they are not alone. Several farmers have complained. Apparently it is tied to one operator and he has been let go. But the state wide coop doesn't seem to want to do anything about it. No local lawyers want to help take up the issue. Do any of you know of any lawyers outside the state of Missouri that would work with a farmer on this issue? The last thing this farming family wants to do is get into a lawsuit but this is a huge mess up on the application job.
No local lawyers want to get involved? That should tell you something about the legitimacy of the case....
WRONG! I'm sure I stated it wrong in the original post. It is a State wide coop so basically all AG Lawyers in Missouri have a conflict of interest and can't take the case. A prominent Ag lawyer in Missouri recommended/told the farmers to look out of state for an AG Lawyer. He couldn't help because he had a conflict of interest from previous dealings with the coop.

You will have to wait for harvest to get some proof of the loss.  RMA may be involved also, keep them in
the loop.  There are lawyers that will take a case like this, your conflict of interest thing means nothing.  Get busy and do things right with harvest records and some actual strip tests with a weigh wagon, with independent 3rd party.
You have aired it on here, but the responsibility is yours and your neighbors.
