All that matters is ear weight, any combination of kernels can contribute to heavy ears. *within reason*
This is also why “tip back” really doesn’t matter that much as most of the weight comes from further down the cob. Extreme cases wait can be detrimental but in general an inch or so of tip back doesn’t mean jack.
