| My Non gmo corn got sprayed with roundup and crop insurance would not pay.
Also, even if you get an attorney to do this, you will have to show and prove the agronomic aspects, and may be even some legal ones.
Most lawyers do not know anything about farming.
For sure you will need yield reports from similar farming operations in the area. Also find out as much as you can about the operator. Them firing him is a good thing, as he will not loose his job over the info he gives.
I would also pull leaf samples and check for nitrogen. I would also pull soil samples. You will need to show their is a lower amount of Nitrogen where the low yield is.
I would be real good friends with the other workers on the ground to see what they say about the deal.
Hopefully you can find where the coop has been negligent or not complied with EPA regulations.
They will not want to say much because they will probably be terminated if they help.
Get plenty of pictures Corn and yield monitor.
It would not be the first time the product was charged to one farm and applied to another.
I have dealt with 2 dealers that would not supply maps.
You will probably need to be in a position to either threaten them with criminals prosecution or with not complying with the EPA DNR regulations, to collect full damages.
