Wanted to try and provide some details of why there were differences in SMS in how data was displayed. Ag Leader displays collect all the raw data in our file format, and don’t apply any shifting or filtering in the log file itself.

Most other formats do not log all the raw data, and will often apply their own filters or shifts to the data. This means we are not provided with the details of any adjustments or filtering that was applied to the file before we read it in. This is why we use 0’s for start/stop/flow shift values because generally applying any additional values would make the map worse.

Some of the data that isn’t logged to the file includes when the head is raised on headlands when grain is still going through the combine.
