Need to be out there months ago (or now) getting soil samples done for nitrogen and nitrate testing. Also need someone with a stalk nitrate hand chopper to take samples NOW.
Need to have proof of N differences. Yes the pictures look bad but that could be blamed on all sorts of stuff without proof. Once the farmers have proof that in this yellow area the stalk nitrate is x and in the green area it's x plus 25 then they have something to stand on to argue about.
Good point. Independent evidence gathering needs to be happening before harvest.
Pictures are good, yield monitor is nice, but I’m guessing real info will need to be gathered by a third party to make a real case.
Then the pics and the self gathered info will support the independent gathered evidence.
