I can understand staying with what you are comfortable with. Hybrid does matter, probably more than specific brand. This year we had corn from 5 different companies due to specific soil conditions and uses (silage, snaplage, and grain).
Try haggling on price, and if that doesn't work don't be afraid to look around.
