deep SW On.
Not so much in Canada ,but in the corn belt this regional pricing can be $100 difference per unit for corn. Idk if corn seed price is determined by the areas yield, i.e. 250+ yield should be $300 unit ,a 165 yield area $200 ???

For soybeans IF we could pay a tech & genetic fee per acre and keep our own seed the whole soybean industry would save a lot of $$ .

For the young guys our Co-op used to sell Canada #1 soybean seed, cleaned for $2 over cash board price in the 1970's

When GMO beans first came out they were a little pricey but 2 RUP sprays @ $5 each kept field clean...Now GMO beans takes a lot of spray $$...I won't but think maybe the non -gmo beans which pay $5 cdn. premium for SQWH today pays well using bin run seed

Seed dealers can answer this , a agronomist was trying to get a major seed comapny dealership,he said his renumeration from that comapny was 10% of his sales $$
