NEMO
Lots of replies. I think I have read them all so far.

Again this is not my fields or problem, trying to help a friend, and I DO NOT have all the details.

First thought: This is not the farmers fault. I'd put these guys in the 'almost always do things right' category!

The story has changed several times from the coop. Between managers and agronomists and applicators. So a bunch of red flags and a bunch of run around and pass the buck.

The coop has apparently paid/settled/or agreed upon a settlement with another farmer (much smaller acres) affected by this same operator, so they know there's a problem.

Ideal growing conditions have masked some of the Nitrogen deficiency until late. Some of the fields had side dress nitrogen applied.

This state wide coop has had business connections with most all AG lawyers in the state of Missouri. So the recommendation from a prominent Ag Lawyer in Missouri (who could not take the case because of dealings with the coop) has told these farmers to seek counsel from outside of the state.

No one yet has responded with a prominent Ag Lawyer referral from outside Missouri. If you know of one please drop the name on here. New AgTalk is a wide and far reaching community, I really figured someone would know of someone in the Ag lawyer world in a surrounding state.

Again just trying to help a friend. Thanks for the replies.
