NW MN | Depending on what you are doing CAD isn't that graphics intensive.
If you run full render mode that is a settings choice. There is a reason most gaming GPUs aren't the primary workstation GPU. A workstation is more about error correcting for less errors or failures.
Work issues me and everyone else a kick butt laptop for CAD, but all my work in simulation is done via remote desktop to a computer I have never laid eyes on in server rack somewhere.
3D scanning with my personal laptop can make the laptop fans sound like it is a drone trying to take off. | |
