PH and calcium being that low on sand would definitely be a zero producing spot here. We have lots of blow sand that likes to get low pH and grow some ugly crops. Lots and lots of lime and calcium source, like chicken litter, is the answer for us. A couple ton of lime per acre doesn’t make much difference in those spots for us, it would be multiple years of 3-4 ton per acre and as much high calcium manure as possible. That’s taken spots from basically zero yield to field average within a couple years many times here.
