Scranton | My late may planted got SR worse than anything around. Of course, EVERYTHING around had chemical fungicide at some point, mine just had organic copper based fungicide, which was akin to pissing on each stalk.
Again, some varieties handled it so much better than others side by side. Going to be 100 bpa differences all over the place. Plus standability is looking compromised on diseased corn while green corn beside it has not quite black layered yet, so we will likely be picking every other 24 rows sooner rather than later. | |
