Ontario | bought a old lexion combine 2 years ago. Yield mapping was a requirement, and the sales guy gave me a big convincing pitch about how this AgLeader setup ( already in machine) was heads and tails better than the claas factory unit. Get it home and it wouldnt even load the main screen. On the phone with the dealer i bought it from a lot and the best help I got was 'look on youtube'. Paid a guy to come from 3 hours away this winter and get it going. Turned out it had a LOT of wire harness issues. Once in the field I cant get it to read anything but a constant number on yield and moisture. Also wont generate a map. I am furious about this, my 2 requirements when combine shopping were 4wd and yield mapping, but of course no one at the dealer cares.
Is this worth spending more on or should I just pitch it and put in one of those FarmTRX systems? | |
