It's been dry here for months. At the same time, I hear it's been wet elsewhere. Same moon phase in both places.

Another consideration is that the moon looks different in the east than it does in the west. Think of a first crescent moon. It follows the sun across the sky. So, in the morning it appears concave side down. A "wet" moon sign. But by evening it's now above the sun in the sky, concave side up. A "dry" moon sign. This repeats the next day. So...is a first crescent moon wet or dry, in your view?
