No frost yet so HU’s will still accumulate for any crop still growing
When I began keeping the records in 1985 Sept 20 was considered the last safe frost free date for this area and we did get the occasional frost before that date. For the past number of years we have had no frost until into October and what is considered a killing frost for corn (Below 0C for 4-5 hours OR -2 or lower) has not come until November in recent years.
