coast of Maine | No ,,I said the incidence of frost/clear during the near the full moon are more common.You/others said the moon is always there. No the tides drain further/rise higher during the full or dark moon phase. That is common sense here. The thought that the ginormous pull from the moon has no affect on the weather is wrong IMO.The low tide is allowing the air to pool closer to the coast as the billions of cubic ft that is moving off shore ,timing with this polar air mass.Saw 29 degrees last night ,draining air tonight will bring it lower as well. But the tide (moons pull caused) has I repeat what has been inferred has no affect on the weather,,,Just saying the truth is there,,the moon changes the weather, more during phases that effect the tides.Low drains are often during periods of dark moon shine. The NWS just reported that on the forecast...well I'll be darn,,,hehehhe | |
