I’m more do concerned about the hot number than the cold number. In lieu of 0-20 I would run 0-30 before I would run 5-20.

There are a remarkable number of little stupid things manufacturers have done to squeeze a tiny bit better fuel economy out of a vehicle, many of which lead to shorter lifespan of components. GM’s overly hot auto transmission fluid is one that comes to mind.
