I don’t disagree that the potential negatives from this are concerning. However, the “news” has been twisting every little thing they possibly can concerning Trump until there is barely even a trace of truth left so something has to be done about it.
Government controlled narratives being pushed has been a concern for a long time already but it fell on deaf ears u til the tables turned. To be blunt the public on both sides should be a united front to demand only truthful news free of spins and twisted statements but which side will accept that under their own watch? That is the problem society faces.
Obama opened the door to allow government propaganda to replace the news if the government deemed it necessary. Everyone has been so busy fighting the other side that I’m not sure they realize they are actually all on the same side on some of these issues. | |
