Honestly. A bunch of people initially called that he was a groyper, and I've seen nothing to indicate that isn't the case. (No, I don't trust statements from the investigation, and I don't trust the parent's shifting statements, as they are now being undoubtedly coached.) Initial statements were that he had been getting "More political". That could just as easily mean further right. Groypers had a well known beef with Kirk There's no actual indication the room mate is trans. In fact, is tik tok feed indicates no such thing. At this point, it all looks like disinfo, and I've not seen anything that really disproves the initial findings that he matches well with the Groyper movement. Hell, the shell casing engravings basically give it away. That's why they had to "release" that weird ass text message thread. 

Groypers are so far right, they're nearly left. Groypers called Charlie Kirk a fascist. If nothing else, the memes indicate the kid was chronically online. 

At any rate, it's hard to deny that growing up in gun culture, with the extreme right wing (they're all out to get us) mentality, wouldn't have had an effect, as well. There's a very good reason that most political violence in the U.S. is right wing. One side says guns are the answer, the other side advocates for measures to reduce gun violence and access.
