East of Broken Bow | I didn't realize until just recently that Kimmel had been told by his boss to tone down the rhetoric as it was costing him viewers, and his show to lose money. He did not do what his bosses told him to, and I think they were looking for a way to take him off the air anyway. The guy lost more than 3/4 of his audience in the last couple years while maintaining his $15 million a year salary. IMO, the writing was on the wall, the FCC just gave them a convenient 'out'. | |
