That happened to me the first year I farmed.
We had Dad's done and were moving the next morning to mine.
It was pretty hard for a first year farmer to tell his landlord he raised sub 10 bushel beans.
Hail insurance said they didn't pay if it happened after labor day.
Did I mention, I don't carry hail insurance?
