s nd | I think I was stopped out on our township road by the farm at the mailbox when I took off and got the dog with the tire. My sister was out there and maybe he got confused with me taking off and her calling him. All I could think of at the time is go get the gun and make sure he doesn't sit there in pain. I didn't wonder how I could kill our dog, but just had to make sure he died respectfully. Accidents happen. Another big black lab died against my car tire in the garage. Big dog. He wanted to ride in everything I owned. Got him in the cab of the 7720 combine, NH 9030 4 wheel drive, 4440 tractor. Gettin him down from the 4 wheel drive cost me a few scratches, but it was worth it. Loaded him up from the garage and we drove all the fields before I buried him behind the shop. Animals are where we get empathy from. We are lucky to have them.
