I would look for a 7088 if it were me. We run a 6088 and it does just fine on a 30’ Draper but if we had a 7088 I feel confident we could run a 35’ maybe even a 40’…. 8 row corn head either way.
Something to think about. The neighbor that’s retiring… what kind of machine does he have? Would it make more sense to run the 2577 that’s cheap and utilize him. Or does he have an old machine that’s worn out and wouldn’t be worth messing with?
