Eldridge, Iowa | We are thinking about replacing the front porch on our 1850's farmhouse. The old porch was completely removed 30 years ago and the house just hasn't looked right since. Our house is a traditional, large, 2 story house, square shaped house with wood siding. We want to have a porch swing on it for sure and be fairly deep so that it could support lots of activity and not just be for looks. Does anyone have any pictures of theirs that you could post? Do you have any great ideas for a porch that we should consider? We are thinking of having it open for now, but maybe enclose it down the road when the kids are grown up. Thanks in advance. | |
