SW Ohio | I can't understand the drought monitor, here in Adams County we are only D1 drought but have had the dryest August 1st to now on record with only a few tenths of rain since July 27.
It's significantly worse than last year, all my corn has died before black layer and many guys have been feeding hay for a couple weeks at least.
A friend of mine shelled a field of corn this week that yielded half of average and had 47lb test weight.
Last year wasn't as bad and we had the federal disaster declaration but nothing this year.
