NE IA | I am 64. After PSA tests in January and June that were both a little high (5.2 & 5.3) I had a biopsy done. Not a lot of fun but got through that OK. Met with the Dr. when the results came in. He said "We have mostly good news!" Then said I had one of the twelve samples come back positive for cancer. Stage 1 with a Gleason score of 6. The doctor recommended active surveillance for now. Next appointment in December with a PSA to be done a week prior. I have tried to read all I can on the subject to educate myself for on down the road. If anything changes at future appointments I am heading north to Rochester. | |
