What needs to be converted at a Sam's club to be scan and go?
Really don't know how much more involved it would be than just removing the checkouts, maybe the whole store would be remodeled?
Springfield has some sort of "arch" you walk through now that scans your receipt so the monitor at the door usually just waves you through.
I don't have a smart phone, I've seen some items listed for a lower price on the shelf using the scan and go option, I don't know if your phone is scanned at the checkout or by the monitor at the door.
When sister first read about it, she asked someone at Sam's and they had no idea what she was talking about.
Guessing the store doesn't want them to know they're going to be phased out.
