East of Broken Bow | Neighbor had a field that gets driven into pretty much every year. If someone just overshoots the corner on the road, he dosen't worry about it, but if they spin a few circles before they leave, he reports it. He commented to the deputy one time that they always enter in the same spot, what if he'd put in a length of guard rail mounted on some RR ties to keep people out.
Deputy replied might not be a good idea because if someone hit his 'obstacle' and got hurt, they could sue him. Said it would be better to plunt some trees in their way, and no reason he couldn't transplant 10 foot tall ones there. | |
