I remember an article in the council Bluff paper 40 or so years ago. It told of a superintendent of a school that was panhandling in the park. He worked about an hour away from where he was panhandling.
Any way, when the school board found out they told him he had to stop. He quit as the pan handling paid more money than the superintendent position.
Guys like him ruin it for the ones who truly need.
Also some just think it is owed them.
I had one person tell me I should give them money as she deserved it just as much as I did.
I truly think she had no idea that I actually went to work to earn that money. | |
