Eastern NE KS | I listened to Axios podcast segment on free speech. I recall the lawyer said basically anything and everything is legal to speak with one exception. That exception is a personal and specific threat to life or limb of another person.
So I'd say the Kimmel, Colbert and most recent topics are examples of cancel culture. Or maybe just simple cancelation by folks with power. We supposedly live in a large enough marketplace that it feed the needs and wants for all tastes. Anything left out is because it is taboo or just largely unpopular. Anything I or you can't stomach we are supposed to ignore or turn off.
