East of Broken Bow | For me, it started when Roseanne got cancelled for a tweet that she made on her personal time, on her personal computer, that was in no way connected with her show.
The tweet poked fun at Valerid Jarret, and it is on record that Jarett was in contact with Then ABC President Iger, and her show was cancelled literally overnight, and being the #1 show in the nation, it came back, but without her, and with her character dead, and renamed 'The Connors' from its original name 'Roseanne'. This happened in I believe 2018.
More recently, Roseanne has said that Obama himself was in contact with Iger to get her cancelled, but I can find no official record of that.
What she did does not compare to Kimmel, who's statements were broadcast on his show. | |
