A dishwasher is quite effective at disinfecting dishes when run thru a unit. In fact, thirty years ago some medical folks (no source in my memory) suggested hand washed dishes to expose children to a controlled concentration of germs left on the dishes to build natural immunity.
Perhaps, my thinking is too big a leap. Everything no matter the build or surface structure may or may not be free of germs. | |
