Over the years we have know dozens of people who had cancer. We always tried to be supportive and offer care and grace. But it turns out I had absolutely no idea of what a family goes through until your own name is called.
Today I really believe I can identify and offer true heartfelt support for any cancer patient, or anyone sick or hurting for that matter.
Cancer was the worst thing to happen to our family, but it also taught us a level of empathy and caring we would have never learned otherwise.
God has a plan! | |
