northeastern Ohio | It became official today: Columbiana county Ohio is in D3 drought. We had a couple tenths of rain in August and one tenth in September. I think the last big rain was around July 21st.
Positives: it has been easy to make hay. Corn silage harvest started 2 weeks early. A lot of guys are taking off beans already.
You can guess the negatives. I don't have any yield results yet. I've never seen so much dust when doing corn silage. Corn silage is giving off a lot of gas. Be careful out there!
