| Like everyone who can remember where they were on 9/11, i remember exaxtly where i was, the time and date when i got the call. After my biopsy i asked the dr to call me an tellme, rather Than wait until a follow up appt. He said he usually didnt do that. I said the questions i have for you at that appt will depend on what the test results are. So in my case he did call to tell me.
Its something that changes your outlook on life. Since then little things that used to bother me dont anymore. I spend less time in front of the tv and more out on the deck looking at the stars or sunsets. More time out on mountain roads, and less on how to scratch every last dime out of every square inch of farm ground
After going through it, and now am in remission so i feel very lucky to have caught it early. Tim Mcgraws song "Live like you were dying" kindof hits the nail on the head
