I put an 8820 titan 2 motor in a 8430 many moons ago
I put a genset motor in a 4850 also.
Put a cotton picker motor in a 790 JD excavator
I'm sure some others also
Sometimes a guy can find a nice motor out of another application that will work in your application with switching around accessory components. None of those were cobble jobs. All were 'correct' for the application it was in when done.
